Natural Emotion: at the 2023 Salone, the RODA collections in an enchanting garden setting

The concept Natural Emotion, presented by RODA at the 61st edition of the Salone del Mobile, tells a story of harmony between man and the outdoors through RODA outdoor furniture and a balanced and respectful synergy with our natural surroundings, with care and a sense of responsibility intrinsic to the company’s sustainability pathway.

Indeed, the stand, made mainly of natural materials, with reconstructed stone floors, wooden structures, and hemp tents, and embellished with large plants from the local area, was designed to be dismantled and fully recovered for subsequent events.

The circular route from the main entrance opens and ends with the two new collections: Astra the never-before-seen range of reclining armchairs and sofas in steel and rope by Rodolfo Dordoni, and the new modular collection in iroko wood by Gordon Guillaumier, Eolie, a system of « islands of relaxation » created by grouping sun loungers, small tables, canopies or gazebos. Positioned at the beginning and end of the tour, they are striking for their very vivid colours; warm shades of orange for Astra, and shades of green and blue for Eolie, just like the natural elements from which the two collections take their names.

More neutral shades for the other collections, ranging from white to sand to smoke grey: Estendo, the new modular sofa with an aluminium structure designed by Luca Pevere, Onda, the upholstered textile seating family by Gordon Guillaumier, Eden, the sofa system by Rodolfo Dordoni that adds natural teak wood to the bleached teak version, and Norma, which this year incorporates a BBQ with three grills on a trolley as an alternative to the classic hob, for an even more well-equipped, outdoor kitchen.

In addition, Levante, a range entirely made of teak by Piero Lissoni, has developed further: a round table and a square one, both available in two sizes.

Also new is Plein Air, the aluminium table collection by Michael Anastassiades. While retaining an essential and elegant design, it includes a new armchair as a lounge version of the dining chair.
