RODA signs the “Business for People and Society” Manifesto
RODA has joined the “Business for People and Society” Manifesto, an initiative promoted by the UN Global Compact Network Italy, the Country Network of the United Nations Global Compact.
The UN Global Compact is the world’s largest strategic initiative dedicated to sustainability and corporate responsibility, encouraging companies to endorse and actively promote its Ten Principles in the areas of human rights, labour, the environment and anti-corruption.
The Manifesto aims to strengthen the social commitment of businesses, extending it across the entire supply chain and within the communities in which they operate, with the goal of ensuring a fair and sustainable future for the next generations.
Among the key points outlined in the document are: the integration of the social dimension into corporate strategies and the enhancement of social value creation; the respect for Human and Labour Rights; the development of an inclusive culture based on respect for diversity and equity; the commitment to employee well-being; the identification of corporate finance actions and synergies in support of the social dimension; and the promotion of practices aimed at strengthening equity and reducing inequalities.
Signing the Manifesto represents a tangible step for RODA in reinforcing its commitment to a corporate sustainability approach that is attentive to the social dimension. This commitment is part of a long-standing journey, marked by initiatives supporting the local area – such as the sponsorship of local events, collaboration with associations and educational institutions – and by a constant focus on the well-being of its employees.
