100 Jane St – USA

Rockrose, a developer founded in 1970, worked with RODA to design a multi-functional amenity space for the residents of 100 Jane St. Located in one of the most desirable neighborhoods in Manhattan; The West Village, 100 Jane St; juxtaposes its historic facade with modern interiors.

The piece-de-resistance is its 5,000 sq/ft rooftop terrace. This space offers 360-degree views of Manhattan and beyond. RODA was tasked with creating multiple zones to provide spaces to dine, converse and relax. With the space being fully exposed to the elements, the requirements of contemporary comfort mixed with technical performance was best suited for RODA’s collections.

The central lounge area encompasses DANDY compositions, paired with ASPIC coffee tables and LAZE lounge chairs in order to create an area for open conversation and conviviality. SURFER sunloungers are position on both the east and west portions of the terrace to provide those relaxing with differing views throughout the day.

For intimate gatherings, the ESTENDO collection is positioned within the corners to create a space to share a quiet moment with close friends. A New York project is not complete without a LEVANTE table, designed by Pierro Lissoni to create a key dining space.
Utilizing a monochromatic palette to let the visual interest of the New York City skyline play a starring role, RODA and Rockrose were able to bring modern Italian outdoor living to the West Village.
