Salone del Mobile 2024: interiors and exteriors are in close contact with nature and its elements
Tall trees with slender trunks, planters and pots bursting with countless shades of green: the RODA stand at Salone del Mobile 2024 turns into a real lush garden, in which to immerse and let be enveloped in a fresh and relaxing embrace.
The stand setup was created through the reuse of materials from the previous edition, reinterpreted in a new and broader configuration.
Three important innovations, three meaningful stories that testify to RODA’s ongoing commitment to offer extraordinary solutions that can inspire and enrich lives. Within the space, each story is presented in its own dedicated corner, but always in communication with the other exhibition areas.
Opening the display is TESEO, the new dining collection by Michele De Lucchi’s AMDL CIRCLE studio. A perfect combination of craftsmanship and industrial efficiency, the collection consists of a dining table and chair characterised by tailored detailing that connects the teak slats with a continuous stitching of cord, its surface treated with a special process to enhance resistance and ensure fluid movement across the wood.
PHILIA, the new sofa system by Rodolfo Dordoni, occupies a raised platform in the centre of the space, in the shade of a tree-filled garden. Thanks to its generous shapes and sizes arranged in a variety of layouts, the modular collection – which is based on teak slats – returns to the origins of the RODA philosophy, akin to indoor sofa design and catering for multiple moments of conviviality and comfort.
Lightly padded and fitted with additional cushions, the backs and armrests can be reclined in three different positions.
Under an elegant pergola, a selection of RODA furniture is revisited with 20 new types of outdoor fabric thanks to the company’s collaboration with MISSONI. Presented in a single dedicated space but in three different situations, all are lifelike and all part of the large garden where the products are displayed.
These are 100% outdoor fabrics made of solution-dyed acrylic yarn with a jacquard finish, customised with Missoni’s iconic colours and patterns and bearing the indispensable technical and performance characteristics, embellishing a selection of furniture produced and distributed by RODA for living, dining and relaxation, enhancing their shapes and upholstery.
